Of Fire and Infinity

Luke I missed it too, MJ! I'm captivated by the history of guitar music – especially juxtaposed with the racism & bigotry so often found here. We can trace our origins back through Sabbath, R&B, Chicago, segregation, the Delta, slave ships, Africa. The origin of humans and human culture. Out through Mesopotamia, then east or west, take your pick. This album has Middle Eastern chants, shamanic drum circles, European house, & a host of heavy guitar music from doom to dissonant. A total history lesson!

Alice M. Déhà has been releasing so much stuff these days that I wonder if he takes the time to eat and sleep.
I’m used to surprises with this artist, but this ritual ethnic thingy takes the cake.

Metallurgical Fire This artist is one of the most gifted out there, and he’s donating proceeds to those who need it. Each new release is distinctive and very good.

BuhBuh Deha stretches the boundaries again. An aural journey for the isolated. A fitting assault for these dark and trying times. Find your place inside and enjoy.

This will end on the 2nd of May 2020

---

Experimental can be a tricky word. Not here.

Ambient, ritual ethnic music mixed with electronic dance (!) and black metal (!!).

A pure hymn to nature with its dose of f@#!kedupness!
