insid-t La musique de Déhà, elle ne s'écoute pas...elle se vit, elle va au plus profond de vous et remue tout... Favorite track: Reconciliation (ft. Walran & Caroline Salmona).

theloch Popiči album! What a beautiful ending to the
“A FLEUR DE PEAU” series. A true pinnacle indeed. Excellent choice of guest musicians aswell. You are different, your music has soul. Favorite track: all four!

Favorite track: Reconciliation (ft. Walran & Caroline Salmona).

Luke This has been a really enjoyable series. Diverse in presentation and style while maintaining a coherent feeling. Stretching DSBM in every possible direction – atmospheric, raw, doomy, tortured and beautiful. The previous collaborative album (III) is perhaps my favourite so it's nice to see that taken up again here. These tracks take us in another new direction with more clean vocals and a sludgy sensibility; movements that could sit happily on a Cult of Luna or even Aereogramme LP. Merci, Déhà!

about

‹ A FLEUR DE PEAU ›
Literal French for ‹ to (the) flower of the skin ›
It means ‹ skin-deep sensibility › in English.
It is one of the most powerful expressions in
the French language concerning such
emotional behaviour.

‹ At the Poles of Everything › is about coping
with ourselves and the way we behave
and think, even if it's not the norm,
through battles and struggles.

A tribute to those who, unexplainably,
cannot express why they do not
feel comfortable in the world.

---

The last installment of the "A FLEUR DE PEAU".
"V - At The Poles of Everything" is a testament of contrasts between beauty of post rock music, and the harshness of extreme, uncontrolled metal.

For this, Déhà called up amazing guests musicians :
. A.K. from DECLINE OF THE I : spoken words & screams on "Everything is going to be okay"
. Valerio Granieri from ROME IN MONOCHROME : clean singing on "Swim in Light"
. Sven & Pat from ASCIAN : clean singing & screams on "Cornelian Dilemma"
. Walran from ABDUCTION, ANGELLORE : clean singing & screams on "Reconciliation"
. Caroline Salmona : violins on "Reconciliation"

A way to end, a way to start anew.
